Have you heard of #TheBigHelpOut?
It’s the UK largest volunteering event 7—9 June 2024 happening at the end of Volunteers’ week. It’s an opportunity to recruit volunteers for your organisation using either B Collective or the Big Help Out app. Soon they’ll both be integrated!
You could simply upload your existing opportunities and invite people to participate over the weekend, or you could host a special taster day to introduce people to your organisation.
There's plenty of fun ways for you to get involved on social media, so jump in and make the most of them!

What’s already happening for #TheBigHelpOut?

The Conservation Volunteers are using our Grey to Green funding to transform a section of the Belfast Stories site on Royal Avenue and Kent Street into ‘The BUG’ – Belfast’s Urban Garden, incorporating polytunnels, raised planters and vegetable beds.

Sunday 7 of July 2024 marks the 4th annual thank you day! Last year 6.5million people got involved in Thank You Day and 61% of people said their local areas felt more united. It’s time to bring back this day of connectedness and take a moment to thank all those superheroes and local legends that make your communities great.
