As part of Belfast’s Christmas animation programme, pending council approval, they are offering grants to help neighbourhoods brighten up their shared spaces in line with the look and feel of the city centre lighting and animation.
The two one-off grant schemes are open to not for profit groups and to encourage collaborations between groups with a focus on shared neighbourhood activity.
Festive neighbourhood dressing grants 2020
These grants will help up to four neighbourhoods to plan and install festive street dressing (capital spend only). A total of £70,000 is available for this programme.
Festive neighbourhood micro-grants 2020
These small grants (up to £3k) will help neighbourhoods to organise festive animation or small-scale dressing. A total of £30,000 is available for this programme.
