The Impact of Brexit on Peacebuilding – Panel Discussion

Evidence suggests that community divisions have been deepened by the 2016 UK referendum on leaving the European Union and the subsequent debates and negotiations.

A panel discussion will take place that reflects on the impact of Brexit on peacebuilding work in Northern Ireland, since the 2016 referendum, and will also consider future implications. The panel will discuss issues raised with the audience.

The speakers at the event are:

  • Duncan Morrow (University of Ulster),
  • Avila Kilmurray (The Social Change Initiative)
  • Susan McCrory (Falls Women’s Centre)
  • Betty Carlisle (Shankill Women’s Centre).

The event is chaired by Gerry McConville (Falls Community Council).
