This event will provide information and support to black and minority ethnic and migrant communities in Northern Ireland, including refugees and asylum seekers.
What to Expect
Ask questions and receive answers (including 1-on-1 support) on many topics:
- Advice NI: EU Settlement Scheme, eVisas, Tax and HMRC, Welfare Benefits, Money and Debt.
- NI Housing Executive: housing services, housing benefits, homelessness, employment opportunities.
- PSNI: Engage with the Police, understand more about a career in Policing, highlight any concerns and receive crime prevention advice.
- Victim Support: Support for victims and witnesses of crime across Northern Ireland.
- Migrant Centre NI: Hate crime advocacy team will provide information on projects and how to access their wide range of advice services.
- Housing Rights: Specialist and holistic housing advice for those who have been granted refugee status.
- Education Authority NI: Advice, guidance and support to schools, partner agencies, families from Asylum-Seeking, Refugee, Traveller, Roma and other Newcomer background in accessing education.
