Intercultural Festival – North Down Museum

North Down Museum is providing multi-cultural activities, entertainment, workshops and International cuisine.

The creative community festival, which is part of Ards and North Down’s Borough Council’s PEACE IV: Celebration Of Our Minority Communities Programme, promises to be a fun-filled day that celebrates cultural diversity.

Highlights include:

  • Chinese Lion dancing
  • Japanese Liado Martial Arts
  • Chinese watercolour painting.

During the event, the North Down Museum will also be re-launching their newly designed Sir John Newell Jordan Collection permanent exhibition space which includes many significant Chinese, Korean and Japanese artefacts.
