ESOL reading group – adult.

An informal English group for speakers of other languages concentrating on reading and conversation.

Moonbase Project Carol Service

Moonbase works with people with learning disabilities with the aim to break down social isolation through creativity. Moonbase previously delivered the Mardi Gras to Falls Road Library and this event is sure to bring festive energy and creativity as they never disappoint.

Create for Christmas

These are creative workshops to join together and make this a better Christmas for the community. Through Christmas crafts we hope to bring the ethos back to the joy of giving.

A collaborative project with West Belfast Partnership, BDACT Connections and New Life City Church.

Lucy’s Blue Day

For Human Rights Week, children’s author Chris Duke reads from his book Lucy’s Blue Day. Chris is a massive supporter of mental health awareness, in particular children. He wants them to know it’s ok not to be ok, and to encourage them to talk about their emotions with someone they trust. His session focuses on feelings using Lucy’s magical colour changing hair giving the children a language to use to help them identify their emotions effectively.

Christmas Past 

Reminisce and feel festive with the help of film archives. View the City Hall, shop displays and enjoy footage of a traditional family Christmas. Relax with a cuppa and a mince pie. Adult event.
