Sustainable education provision in rural communities – Integrated Education Fund
The Integrated Education Fund is holding an information event about the results of a recent Ulster University briefing paper on isolated pairs of schools, and how best to ensure a sustainable education provision in rural communities.
About the Event
As part of their Transforming Education project, Ulster University has completed a briefing paper discussing isolated pairs of schools in rural areas. The report is titled "Isolated Together: Pairs of Primary Schools Duplicating Provision."
The Integrated Education Fund are keen to hear what local communities, parents and organisations think of the results of the report and to get ideas and feedback regarding sustainable education provision in local areas.
Dr Stephen Roulston, co-author of the briefing paper, will provide an overview of the research. There will be opportunities for questions as well as table discussions.
