This exhibition examines the role and experiences of the women of HMS Caroline. This event will give members of the public an opportunity to celebrate all aspects of our culture and heritage. Libraries are welcoming neutral venues which are open to everyone in the community and by hosting this event, people are able to access a range of free services in this ‘safe and shared place’.

Following on from their trip to Sri Lanka, journalist Joseph O’Connor and videographer Paul Loughran document how music has been used to unite divided communities in this area. The Healing Harmonies exhibition explores how music can be an effective platform for reconciliation and is in partnership with Beyond Skin and The Music Project.

Revered David Armstrong will give a talk based on his recollections of his experiences as a Presbyterian Minister in the parish of Limavady 1980 -1985. The lecture will give an account of what it was like serving the community during some of the most turbulent days of the troubles and how there are still lessons of reconciliation for everyone to learn.

Sponsored walk to raise funds and awareness about the work of the Glencree Centre. The walk will create a convivial atmosphere and help to connect participants by walking together and sharing their stories in a rural setting. The walk will help the centre to continue in their efforts for peace and reconciliation throughout the whole island of Ireland.
