Are you interested in visiting different places of worship, understanding why different communities celebrate the events they do?
The Council is running a DiverseCity programme, with events happening each month.
The first event for 2019 is a visit to the Jewish Synagogue. This visit will enable participants to understand aspects relating to the history, heritage and cultural practice of the Jewish Community.

The Diverse City programme is a monthly programme that enables participants to visit different places of worship and to explore other cultures and heritages. Events will include Refugee awareness and Arabic cultural information sessions, Traveller awareness workshops, a visit to the Jewish Synagogue, a visit to the Belfast Islamic Centre, a visit to the Clifton Street Orange Hall as well as a mural and peace wall tours and events exploring the history and significance of the Irish language in Belfast and much more….
