Community Relations and Cultural Awareness Week - get entry forms in by tomorrow 28th July

Monday 18th – Sunday 24th September, 2017

‘Safe space, shared place’

Community Relations and Cultural Awareness Week is a high profile initiative supporting the Northern Ireland Executive’s Together: Building a United Community (T:BUC) strategy.  It is an opportunity to celebrate all aspects of our culture and heritage, to promote cultural diversity and to tackle sectarianism and racism.

The Week’s primary objectives are to inspire new ideas, promote understanding, respect and engagement between and amongst all sections of our community. It provides a platform for organisations and groups across a variety of sectors to demonstrate innovative approaches to good relations and examples of how we can build a united and shared community.

The theme for this year is ‘Safe space, shared place’.  This will focus on how we can create a community where everyone feels safe and secure while showcasing the plethora of places that are safe spaces.
