The Community Relations/Cultural Diversity (CR/CD) Grant Scheme deadline for applications has been extended to 31 March 2025 at 4 PM (subject to available budget).
Please note – all successful applicants must complete their projects and have their monies spent by the end of March 2025.
If your project is taking place in the next financial year, then please apply when the scheme re-opens in April 2025 (opening date to be confirmed) for project delivery and completion within the next financial year.
If you are delivering community relations and/or cultural diversity projects to directly address and challenge sectarianism and/or racism in Northern Ireland, promoting good relations and building friendships and relationships between people from different cultures, traditions and backgrounds, you could be eligible to receive grant support towards your project activities.
The Small Grants Scheme supports a wide variety of projects every year, including cross-community and multi-cultural arts projects, festivals, good relations training sessions, historical site visits, residentials, sports activities, conferences etc.
All projects must include an intentional Good Relations learning programme to ensure participants increase their understanding of different cultures, traditions and backgrounds.
The CR/CD grant scheme can help with a variety of project costs including transport, venue hire, refreshments, facilitation costs, workshop costs, speakers, materials, equipment hire, residential costs, artist/musician costs, etc.
