The Community Relations Council extends its sympathy to the family and colleagues of the Consul General of Poland in Northern Ireland, Dariusz Adler who passed away suddenly at the weekend.
CRC Chair Peter Osborne said:
“The passing of Dariusz Adler at the weekend has come as a major and unpleasant shock. Our sympathies and thoughts go to his family, friends and colleagues here and in Poland.
Dariusz has been taken far too early. He had achieved a great deal in his life and developed huge diplomatic experience over many years, but we know he had plans for so much more. Dariusz was committed to further improving relations between Poland and Northern Ireland. In that work he carried the Polish community in Northern Ireland in his heart and he will be a significant loss to them.
We hope the work Dariusz started in his relatively short time here will be built on by others in the future as a tribute to him and his family.”
