Community Arts Partnership (CAP) launched an online showcase of its Breathe creative project with people from across Belfast.
The work deals with the creative responses to a presentation made by renowned international peacebuilder Professor John Paul Lederach as the keynote for the 4 Corners Festival in 2022.
The Breathe project which was supported by the Community Relations Council through its CR/CD Small Grants Scheme. This included 10 workshop sessions with participants from North and West Belfast, led by freelance community artists, Forthspring Inter-community Group, and Community Arts Partnership
The results are five short films and a podcast, which were released as part of Good Relations Week 2024.
The Breathe project was facilitated in 2023 by Carole Kane, Charmaine McMeekin and supported by John Paul. The project engaged members of the local community in movement, visual expression and Haiku writing.
