The Senator George J. Mitchell Institute for Global Peace, Security and Justice and the Civil Rights Commemoration Committee are hosting a conference on 'Human Rights Futures: The Agenda for the Next 50 Years?'.
The conference will be framed by reflections on the contribution of the Northern Ireland civil rights movement and include discussions about the future of human rights. The principal aim is to understand what the lessons might be for the promotion and protection of human rights and the agenda for the next 50 years.
