A hundred and fifty people were in attendance at the sold out event in Belfast City Hall. And over 50 people had never been to a TBUC Engagement Forum before.
The celebration event showcased the diversity of projects and activities undertaken across Northern Ireland to help build united communities. Attendees had gathered under the theme: “People making change for peace.”
The Executive Office reported on progress regarding the implementation of T:BUC and also outlined how TEO and the Community Relations Council contributed to its delivery at local level.
Unique Carousel Structure
The Engagement Forum used, for the first time, a unique carousel structure. The presentation hall was divided into 7 dedicated presentation zones, and participants moved in groups through each. This allowed for people to engage with presenters in a more intimate and dynamic way. Each session allowed for follow-up questions.
Finally, at the end of the event, our rapporteurs collected feedback from each presentation zone and delivered it back to the collected attendees during the event wrap-up.
