Opportunities for Accredited Training are available through WAVE Trauma Centre in partnership with Queens University.
Requirements For Course Accreditation
Participants will be required to complete an assignment for course accreditation. Successful participants will receive 10 CATS Points (Level 1) through Open Learning, School of Social Sciences, Education and Social Work, Queen’s University, Belfast.
What Is Involved?
These courses are delivered either over four full days and each course will have no more than 12-15 participants.
Cost
The cost is £125.
Who?
The courses are designed for anyone working or caring for people who have experienced trauma. This course will give them a greater understanding of how to recognise trauma and the physiology and psychology of trauma.
