Musicians from marching bands in Northern Ireland and heavy rock musicians were doubled booked into a Belfast Music recording session in the Start Together Recording Studios in Belfast. The result of this intriguing fusion is a band called Marching Metal.
This project was developed by Beyond Skin(external link opens in a new window / tab) (who are core funded by the Community Relations Council) and was delivered as part of Make Music Day 2021.
The band’s first single – an interpretation of The Star of the County Down – is now available to watch.
