The Churches Trust was established over 30 years a go in recognition of the fact that deprivation and disadvantage are key barriers to building a united community, equality of opportunity and good relations. The Organisation wishes to appoint a Community Relations Manager.

Position: Community Relations Manager
Salary: £39,415
Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
Purpose and function of post:
- To further the mission of the Churches Trust, under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer, by promoting a united, shared and cohesive society working in collaboration with churches from various faith traditions, schools and a diverse range of community groups.
- To manage the Churches Trust service and operational programme, under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer, ensuring that project outcomes and outputs are delivered according to funders’ expectations across all activities, including youth development programmes, interfaith / interchurch / and community education projects, addressing health inequalities and deprivation, and social enterprise units.
Essential criteria include but are not limited to:
- A level 6 qualification in a relevant discipline
- A minimum of three years relevant service delivery management experience
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
