NVTV Good Relations Awards Interviewed for Television Broadcast | Good Relations Awards 2023

The winners of the Good Relations Awards 2023 were interviewed for a televised special which was broadcast on NvTv.

The programme included: Martin McDonald MBE, CRC Chair; Angila Chada, Springboard Opps; and Nicole Darragh.

Angila Chada won the Community Relations Council’s Exceptional Achievement Award in Peacebuilding.

Nicole Darragh won the Good Relations Community Champion Award, which was partnered by NICVA.

The winners of the Good Relations Awards 2023 were recently announced a gala event, hosted by Jo Scott from the BBC, held at the Belfast Harbour Commissioners Office on Tuesday 7 March 2023.

For 2023, the Community Relations Council (CRC) developed an expanded Awards programme. CRC has been running a Good Relation Award since 2006. This year, CRC worked with partners in The Executive Office, NICVA, NI Youth Forum, Volunteer Now and The Community Foundation for Northern Ireland.

There were five Awards categories:

  • Community Relations Council Exceptional Achievement Award (peace building)
  • Good Relations Volunteer of the Year Award
  • Good Relations Community Champion Award
  • Good Relations Youth Award (Under 25)
  • Good Relations Connecting Communities Project of the Year Award
