The organisation wishs to recruit an additional youth worker to support them in their youth work. This post is supported by the Benefact Trust.

Position Available

The Churches Trust wish to recruit a:

Part-time Youth Worker - 18 hours per week

Salary £12.59 per hour 

Job Description

As a Youth Worker you will support the Youth Work Development Manager in the delivery, monitoring and evaluation of projects and ensure adherence to policy and procedures.  You will mentor and work directly with children and young people to facilitate their active participation in projects, and create opportunities for personal development, good relations and skills development. 

Essential criteria includes but is not limited to:

A youth work qualification at OCN level 3 or equivalent in a relevant discipline. A minimum of one year’s paid or three year’s voluntary experience working directly with children and young people.  Five GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths, Grade C or above.
