To mark the 400th anniversary of the walls, Derry City & Strabane District Council and its partners, The Honourable The Irish Society, the builders and owners of the Walls and Department of Communities, Historic Environment Division, wish to maximise the opportunity that this will have on the City and have identified The Walled City 400 Years as a key theme for events programming from 1st April 2019 to March 2020.
We wish to invite organisations to apply for this dedicated funding stream, which will support unique one off events that help to create a full and vibrant programme for this significant heritage led opportunity. Events and activities large and small could add depth and variety to the Walled City 400 Years programme.
Closing date for this application is Monday 18th February 2019 @ 4pm.
