A diverse panel of victims and survivors of The Troubles will re-tell their real life experiences live on-stage to give a message of understanding, empathy, reconciliation and hope.
These community peace makers will engage with the audience offering the opportunity for reflection, discussion and dialogue. The over-arching intention is to present the different perspectives of those severely impacted by the conflict, and to explore the legacy for individuals today – all in the spirit of people making change for peace.
The Theatre of Witness performance and workshop is hosted by The Playhouse Theatre. And will be in Lurgan for the start of Good Relations Week 2019. It’s co-ordinated by the Shared Education Partnership.
