The report is based on a round table discussion, hosted by DD in Belfast on February 17th 2001, which sought to bring together individuals and representatives from the many organisations in Ireland and in Britain involved in ensuring that asylum seekers and refugees are treated with the respect for their human rights that should be accorded to all people.
